Inolex rebrands for global expansion
of cosmetics business

A new branding campaign has been
launched by Inolex to support its
global expansion. The company has
recently established sales and
technical offices in Japan, Thailand,
India and China to complement its
existing activities in the EU and North
America. The rebranding reflects the
firm’s development of innovative and
sustainable cosmetic technologies.
Inolex recently unveiled the latest
results of its innovation, the LexFeel
N-Series of natural alternatives to
silicone emollients cyclomethicone D5
and dimethicones. The new products
utilize bio-based succinic acid from
BioAmber. When used in skin care,
hair care or antiperspirant products,
the 100% natural and sustainable
emollients facilitate a non-greasy,
clean and silky texture.

Swiss chemicals trade and service
provider Impag has started to
distribute the Dynax DX4000 range of
fluorinated surfactants aimed at the
coatings and printing inks industry.
Manufactured by US company Dynax
Corp, this range of products is
suitable for the manufacture of water-
based coatings, printing inks and
pigment pastes, as well as wood and
metal coatings. Impag is therefore
further expanding its range of
products aimed at the coatings
industry and the measure represents
an important step for Dynax to
expand its presence in the European
market.
Lubrizol Personal and Home Care
enhances organizational talent
The Lubrizol Corp has promoted
Dorina Ghirardi to the position of
global R&D director, personal and
home care. In this role, she will work
with an emphasis on providing
technologies that deliver valued
solutions for customer needs. She
will be responsible for the group’s
alignment and for directing the R&D
function for the business in the
areas of synthesis, applications, new
product development and technical
service. Dr Sanjay Kalhan is
promoted to the newly created
position of global business director
for home care. Arul Mathew is
